Cape Air is offering seaplane service from New York and New Haven to Provincetown for a wild weekend of Halloween celebrations. Departure time on Friday, October 26th from the 23rd Street Seaplane Base in NYC is 2:00 p.m. and from Tweed New Haven Airport at 2:30 p.m. Arrival time in Provincetown is 3:30 p.m. – just in time for the festivities. For the return on Sunday, flights will depart Provincetown Municipal Airport at 3:30p.m. There is no better place to experience the fun and fright of Halloween than P’Town!

Events for Friday, the 26th include: the Haunted Tea Dance at Boatslip Beach Club (4-7 p.m.); the Meet & Grrreet at the Wave Bar at Crown & Anchor (5-7 p.m.) followed by Troup Bearlesque’s presentation of “Scarelesque” at Cabaret at Crown & Anchor (7 p.m.). At the Paramount, Crown & Anchor (9 p.m.–1 a.m.) the HalloWOOF Dance Party’s theme this year is jungle. Oh the possibilities!!

Saturday’s festivities include: Spooky Tea Dance at Boatslip Beach Club (4-9 p.m.); another opportunity to see Troup Bearlesques’ “Scarelesque” at the Cabaret at Crown & Anchor (7 p.m.). The first annual Black & Gold Ball will be held at Town Hall (8-12 p.m.). The sponsor for this event is Salt Hotels and proceeds from the event will benefit the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod. Lots of fun for a good cause – what could be better?

The Paramount at Crown & Anchor is featuring the annual Spooky Bear Costume Ball and contest
(9 p.m.-1 a.m.). Cash prizes will be awarded for a costume’s scary factor, best themes, and group costumes. The A-House will also be giving cash prizes for best costumes at their Halloween Party (10p.m.-1:00a.m.).

On Sunday, revelers can head for the Farewell Brunch at Central House, Crown & Anchor (10a.m. – 1 p.m.) or if you’re planning to sleep in, you can attend the Final Tea Dance of the season at Boatslip Beach Club (4– 7 p.m.).
