Spring has arrived and our clients are already itching to get out of New York so they can enjoy the crisp ocean breezes of The Hamptons. Our weekend commuter service has been up and running for the past month. You can see from the accompanying photo that East Hampton Airport has one lone Shoreline seaplane standing by for commuters, but in just a few short weeks it will be busier here than LaGuardia.
Clients will recognize most of the pilot staff this year, although we’ll have a couple of new co-pilots. Sadly our exceptional dock personnel are moving on to other ventures. After three years with us, Richard has returned to his old job and Camille has moved overseas. We wish both of them the best of luck. They did a wonderful job making order out of the chaos and we hope their replacements will be equally as unflappable!
Cindy and Maureen from Sound Aircraft Services in East Hampton will continue to arrange flights for everyone. Call early in the week if you want to book, or better yet, if you know your schedule for the summer, you can submit it to them now. They are very organized! If you have any questions on the service, please consult the FAQs on the New York page of our website at shorelineaviation.com. We have tried to anticipate every potential question, but if we’ve missed something, just give us a call.
